Production - Mechanical Maintenance - Second Shift

Job Summary

• Salary Range: $24.81 to $29.45 + 10% shift differential
• Pay Frequency:
  Bi‑Weekly

Perform assigned work to rig, move, install, and erect machinery and equipment involved in plant operations. Coordinate operations with electricians, maintenance machinists, and other trades involved in erecting, dismantling, and reassembling to expedite work and avoid delays.

• Perform general building repairs and maintenance work on heating, air conditioning and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair basic functions of hoists, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Construct and repair structural woodwork and equipment.
• Do sheet metal, carpentry, concrete, and roofing repairs requiring a fundamental knowledge of trade basics.
• Work from drawings, diagrams, specifications, job layouts, sketches, and verbal instruction.
• Use tools, materials, and equipment typical of the trades.
• Install and maintain all water, air, gas, and sewer lines; inspect and recharge all fire extinguishers.
• Maintain air compressors and all gas fired ovens and heaters in the shop and office.
• Instructions, assistance, and guidance provided on difficult assignments.
• Perform duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below.

Requires a vocational or high‑school graduate with courses in mechanical drawing, shop mathematics, shop practices, and other related vocational school courses plus a formal on‑the‑job training or equivalent program.

Must be a sole US citizen.
