Construction Carpenter
As a Construction Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of siding, including vinyl, fiber cement, wood, metal panels, and composite materials. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet building codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
Responsibilities- Measure, cut, and shape siding components to ensure proper fit and installation.
- Install exterior trim, fascia, soffit, house wrap, flashing, and moisture barriers.
- Inspect surfaces and structures to determine necessary preparation work.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other job-related equipment safely.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Perform basic framing or structural repairs as needed to support siding installation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites and company equipment.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- 2–5 years of construction or carpentry experience with a strong emphasis on siding installation.
- Knowledge of siding systems, moisture control, and exterior finishing techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and installation instructions.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with LP Smart Side, metal siding, and custom trim work is preferred.

Work EnvironmentYou will work on diverse construction sites, utilizing hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding. Expect to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, with a focus on safety and adherence to OSHA protocols. Dress code is casual but appropriate for construction sites.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
