Job Description

Amcor Flexibles – Mankato, Minnesota (2111 3rd Avenue) is hiring a Forklift Operator to support our converting facility’s logistics department.

• Assist Logistics Management with day‑to‑day receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment by inspecting warehouse and equipment (forklifts, docks, lighting, fire extinguishers, emergency exits, aisles, mirrors, etc.).
• Use logistics reports to identify and resolve operational issues and report inconsistencies or problems to management.
• Participate in forklift operator team meetings and communicate shift workflow to coworkers.
• Conduct inventory control activities, verify product fit on loads, accuracy of pick/pack and staged orders, perform warehouse consolidation, and walk through warehouse reporting discrepancies to management.
• Develop proficiency in Microsoft Office, Amcor‑specific programs, and other software used by the logistics department.
• Work an 8‑ or 12‑hour shift schedule, including occasional overtime and Saturday mornings.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by management.

• Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience driving a forklift.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Strong communication skills and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional logistics software.

Hours:

Monday–Friday 7:30am–3:30pm with occasional Saturday mornings 7:30am–10am. Overtime may be required.

Starting wage: $19.94 per hour, with a top‑out wage of $28.98 per hour.
