Forklift Operator​/Logistics

Amcor Flexibles – Mankato, Minnesota facility located at 2111 3rd Avenue has an opening in our Logistics department for a Forklift Operator supporting the converting facility. You will lead a team by assisting in the day-to‑day operational efforts to ensure the core focus areas of receiving, warehouse and shipping are conducted in a productive and cost‑effective manner. Excellent attendance and good communication are essential.

Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., occasional Saturday mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

• Under the supervision of Logistics Management, assist in the day‑to‑day operational efforts of receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
• Maintain a safe work environment by inspecting and observing the warehouse and all equipment used during daily activities, including forklifts, dock areas, product, lighting, fire extinguishers, emergency exits, aisles, and mirrors at intersections.
• Use Logistics Reports to identify and resolve operational issues. Report all inconsistencies or problems to Management.
• Participate actively in forklift operator team meetings to keep coworkers informed on logistics department shift workflow.
• Perform inventory control activities, verify product fit on loads, verify accuracy of pick/pack and staged orders, perform warehouse consolidation efforts, and perform warehouse walk‑through reporting all discrepancies to Management.
• Be proficient in or able to develop proficiency in Microsoft Office, Amcor, Inc. programs, and other software used by the Logistics Department.
• Be willing and capable of working an 8‑ or 12‑hour shift schedule.
• Fulfill other duties assigned by management.

Compensation

$19.94 starting wage, with a top‑out pay of $28.98.
