Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Gaylord, MN. The role offers weekly pay, benefits, and a stable driving career.

Weekly pay ranges from $1,116 to $1,562 depending on the schedule. Hourly pay is $31.00 for PM shifts. Hours per week are 36‑48, with a 4‑day week followed by a 3‑day week. Start time is 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Additional compensation: a $3,000 loyalty bonus ($1,500 paid after 6 months and $1,500 after 1 year). Tanker endorsement will be provided within 30‑60 days of hire.

Route: local home‑daily yard traffic, no freight, no touch, yard work only. Ryder provides training for endorsements and supplies company trucks that are 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and 800+ nationwide service locations.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load or unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• At least 9 months of tractor‑trailer experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Pass a Ryder background check and motor vehicle record check with a road test, and,"+ " comply with any additional customer screening requirements.
