Equipment Delivery Driver

Ziegler CAT is looking for an Equipment Delivery Driver to transport equipment to customers or Ziegler locations. The driver supports Rental, Sales and Customer Repair operations.

Safety‑sensitive role: subject to DOT drug screen and physical mandatory pre‑employment requirements.

• Complete and update the daily delivery schedule
• Order state, county and city permits
• Maintain accurate Hours of Service log per FMCSA regulations
• Interact with dispatch throughout the day to support changes in the delivery schedule
• Work with Ziegler personnel to load/unload equipment
• Determine and communicate needed repairs to appropriate personnel
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and internal team members
• Provide courteous service during equipment delivery and pickup
• Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding delivery and pickup
• Perform vehicle walk‑around inspections per FMCSA regulations
• Inspect, refuel and maintain vehicle daily
• Maintain working knowledge of all equipment sold and serviced by Ziegler
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on truck and trailer

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Class A CDL required
• Hazmat endorsement a plus
• DOT medical certification card
• Clean driving record; must follow Federal, State and Local regulations
• Ability to drive equipment safely and complete daily inspection reports
• Ability to keep vehicle clean and in proper working order

• Push/pull up to 25 lbs
• Lift up to 60 lbs
• Perform standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck and trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, high step
• Must work indoor and/or outdoor environments; noise level may be loud at times

• Competitive pay $25.00 to $34.00 per hour
