Responsibilities include:

• Administering and interpreting a variety of formal and informal educational and psychological assessments
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialized staff to gather developmental, academic, and behavioral information
• Writing comprehensive evaluation reports and presenting findings in a clear, supportive manner
• Participating in eligibility determination meetings and IEP team discussions to help design effective, individualized support plans
• Staying current on best practices and regulatory guidelines relating to special education evaluations
• Maintaining timely, accurate, and confidential documentation

Desired qualities & experience:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
• Demonstrated experience conducting assessments in school settings, particularly elementary
• Strong understanding of special education law and evaluation criteria
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative approach
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced school environment
