Dyslexia Special Education Teacher in Manor, TX

• Active Texas Teaching Certification required
• Texas Reading By Design Certification is a must
• Bilingual candidates should have training in both Esperanza and Reading By Design
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or with dyslexia support is highly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Provide targeted dyslexia interventions to students, utilizing Reading By Design and other evidence-based strategies
• Adapt and implement instructional materials to address a variety of learning needs
• Maintain regular progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation for all students on your caseload
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, families, and related service providers to support student growth
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in dyslexia education and intervention

• Full-time contract: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Caseloads may vary and will be discussed during the interview process
