About the RoleFalcon Structures is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter to join our growing Design and Engineering team. In this role, you’ll create precise customer approval drawings, bills of material, and production-ready drawings. Your work will transform concept plans, details, and specifications into accurate documents that guide both our customers and production teams.
Duties & Responsibilities- Deliver drafting tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Review drawings, details, and schedules to ensure quality and readiness for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with engineering to set up non-standard items in the parts/procurement system for review and approval.
- Provide clear and timely updates on drafting activities to management.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve drafting processes and workflows.
- Support production by answering technical questions during production hours (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in drafting, design, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD software).
- MEP experience is strongly preferred and will be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Though we are a small company, we have become one of the largest container modifiers in the country. We work with impressive customers including all branches of the military, oil and gas, aerospace, real estate, sports facilities, and more. Our location is close to Austin but away from congestion, avoiding I‑35 and parking fees.
