Bilingual Educational Diagnostician | Spanish Required | Manor, TX

Behind every child struggling in a classroom is a question that nobody has answered yet. Is this a learning disability or is this a child still finding their way in a second language? The answer to that question changes everything. The services they receive. The path their education takes. The story they tell about themselves for the rest of their lives.

This role is for the person trained to find that answer.

A school district in Manor, Texas is looking for a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician for a contract position running from October 8, 2026 through May 28, 2027. You will work district wide across one or multiple campuses serving students whose families deserve someone who can speak to them in their own language about their child.

What you get:

  • $50 to $55 an hour
  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • 37.5 hours a week
  • A contract role with a defined timeline so you can plan your life around it

What you will be doing:

  • Conducting bilingual evaluations in English and Spanish to assess cognitive abilities, academic achievement and language development
  • Differentiating language acquisition needs from learning disabilities
  • Preparing Full and Individual Evaluation reports
  • Participating in ARD meetings and supporting IEP development
  • Communicating evaluation findings to families in their native language
  • Maintaining compliance with IDEA and TEA regulations across all campuses

What you need to bring:

  • Master's degree in Educational Diagnostician, Special Education, School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of bilingual assessment practices and culturally responsive evaluations
  • Experience administering and interpreting standardized educational assessments
  • Strong understanding of IDEA, TEA regulations, ARD and IEP processes
