Trade Compliance Coordinator Details:
- Direct hire position
- $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 / annually
- First shift
- Manage and maintain compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, including import/export requirements and tariff updates
- Utilize the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system for entry review, data management, and reporting
- Perform HTS classification and ensure accurate tariff application across imported goods
- Identify and execute duty recovery opportunities, including duty drawback and post-entry corrections
- Review and correct entry summaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CBP requirements
- Support post-entry processes, including reconciliation, protests, and amendments
- Collaborate with customs brokers, internal teams, and government agencies to resolve discrepancies
- Generate and analyze reports using Excel and SAP to identify trends, discrepancies, and recovery opportunities
- Maintain documentation and audit trails to support compliance and internal/external audits
- Stay current on changes to trade laws, tariffs, and regulatory requirements
Trade Compliance Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, or import/export operations
- Strong working knowledge of HTS classification, U.S. customs regulations, and CBP processes
- Hands-on experience with ACE (Automated Commercial Environment)
- Experience with duty drawback, post-entry corrections, or customs reconciliation
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) and experience with SAP preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment
