Trade Compliance Coordinator Details:

  • Direct hire position
  • $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 / annually
  • First shift
  • Manage and maintain compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, including import/export requirements and tariff updates
  • Utilize the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system for entry review, data management, and reporting
  • Perform HTS classification and ensure accurate tariff application across imported goods
  • Identify and execute duty recovery opportunities, including duty drawback and post-entry corrections
  • Review and correct entry summaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CBP requirements
  • Support post-entry processes, including reconciliation, protests, and amendments
  • Collaborate with customs brokers, internal teams, and government agencies to resolve discrepancies
  • Generate and analyze reports using Excel and SAP to identify trends, discrepancies, and recovery opportunities
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails to support compliance and internal/external audits
  • Stay current on changes to trade laws, tariffs, and regulatory requirements

Trade Compliance Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, or import/export operations
  • Strong working knowledge of HTS classification, U.S. customs regulations, and CBP processes
  • Hands-on experience with ACE (Automated Commercial Environment)
  • Experience with duty drawback, post-entry corrections, or customs reconciliation
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) and experience with SAP preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment
