Position Responsibilities
- Lead Purchasing Analysts to ensure accuracy in forecasts and performance. Champion a culture that motivates the Purchasing team to improve supply chain outcomes and to provide high-quality customer service. Ensure completion and proper execution of work procedures.
- Accountable for supervisory functions of the assigned region.
- Responsible for planning and purchasing inventory for multiple suppliers, to support multi-tiered distribution network and manage relationships with suppliers while leading the Purchasing Analysts within the region.
- Develop team through quality performance management and development plans in order to create adequate succession plans for Purchasing Supervisors and Analysts.
- Translate the detailed marketing, sales, and corporate forecasts in order to maintain adequate inventory levels that are balanced according to service level outcomes.
- Proactively monitor inventory health and surplus/deficit to identify systemic issues. Create and implement action plans with tactical partners for short term answers, while partnering with optimization team to develop long term solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of related experience and 0–1+ years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 7+ years of specific experience and 2–3+ years of leadership experience.
