Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find CNC Machinists/Operator for a manufacturing facility located in Manor, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to grow within a stable and supportive company.
As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for:
- Operating CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Setting up machines, including loading materials and selecting appropriate tooling.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standard.
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor machine issues.
- Using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Supporting team members and supervisors with daily production needs.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Ability to safely operate CNC equipment and use precision measuring tools.
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and shop safety practices.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
- Pay ranges from $24-$32+ per hour (based on experience).
- Two schedule options available:
- Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:30 AM (Fridays off, occasional overtime)
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
