Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard? As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.
• Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.
• Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• You are 21 years old or older
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a CT State Security Guard License endorsement
• Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to respond to high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
