Special Education Teacher
One Year Position (2026 – 2027 School Year)
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the special education liaison for an assigned caseload of students
- Teach small group and co-teach inclusion courses
- Participate in, and at times, chair, team meetings
- Write and amend IEPs as necessary
- Attend planning meetings as assigned
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Teach students needing social and emotional support
- Collaborate with support staff such as School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker, School Psychologist, Teachers, and Paraprofessionals
