Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities include:
* Serve as the special education liaison for an assigned caseload of students
* Teach small group and co-teach inclusion courses
* Participate in, and at times, chair, team meetings
* Write and amend IEPs as necessary
* Attend planning meetings as assigned
* Maintain student confidentiality
* Teach students needing social and emotional support
* Collaborate with support staff such as School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker, School Psychologist, Teachers, and Paraprofessionals
