Lacrosse Assistant Coach

Job Summary

The Assistant Coach for Lacrosse will assist the head coach with the organization, development, and implementation of a nationally competitive NCAA DivisionI men’s lacrosse program. Responsibilities include interacting with students, colleagues, university staff, alums, and the public, and ensuring compliance with NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and University rules.

• Assist the head coach with program organization, development, and implementation.
• Coordinate recruiting, scouting, and coaching activities.
• Manage travel coordination and program administration.
• Assist in fundraising and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alums, and the general public.
• Ensure compliance with all NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and University rules and regulations, and promote the academic development of student‑athletes.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two (2) years of NCAA DivisionI collegiate men’s lacrosse experience.
• Preferably at least two (2) years of coaching experience at the NCAA DivisionI level.

• Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, balance, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Work required during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Operate computer and office devices; communicate via telephone, email, and in person.

Salary range: $95,000 – $110,000. Benefits:
