Deductions Specialist

Deductions Specialist will be responsible for preparing, compiling, researching, and processing deductions submitted by vendors or internal teams.

Areas of responsibility:

• Prepare and enter all vendor deductions to ensure timely and accurate processing according to identified procedures.
• Analyze and organize all supporting documentation to support these deductions.
• Communicates with various internal departments to resolve disputes, payments, chargebacks and closing process gaps and documentation requirements.
• Import / download transactions from other systems into accounting system.
• Performs other job duties as required.

• Associates degree and/or at least three years of experience in a Finance or Accounting based role
• Hands-on experience with high volume data entry with a high attention to detail
• Has the ability to work with a sense of urgency
• A combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform duties
• Handles confidential information in a professional manner
• An understanding of research and reconciliation functions
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word
• Team-oriented, well organized
• Maintain good working relationships with vendors and co-workers
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
