Position Summary
  • The Accounting Manager reports to the Corporate Controller
  • Located in Mansfield, MA
  • Full-Time
  • Hybrid

The Accounting Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations (GAAP/IFRS), and effective internal controls. This role requires extensive experience in accounting processes, coupled with a deep understanding of ERP systems and their integration into corporate finance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Accounting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor financial transactions, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile accounts.
Financial Policy Development And Process Improvement
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures in accordance with ERP best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Enhance accounting procedures and workflows to boost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Evaluate and implement automation where feasible.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, updating policies as necessary to mitigate risks.
Cross-Functional Integration
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to ensure seamless data flow and process alignment.
  • Communicate with senior management and key stakeholders to provide updates on ERP initiatives, project milestones, and financial system performance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with experience in ERP system implementations and financial management.
  • Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Public Accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP software such as JD Edwards, SAP, or Oracle along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in Tri Mark’s benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
