Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive the advancement of our organization’s cyber maturity.
The CISO will set the strategic vision for security and provide vigilant oversight to ensure that as we modernize and innovate, we maintain an unwavering commitment to security, resilience, and enterprise risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Looking for a junior CISO individual who wants to learn from the CTO and grow their career.
- Develop and lead the enterprise information security strategy aligned with business goals, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to protect data, applications, and infrastructure.
- Oversee risk management and compliance programs.
- Lead incident response and crisis management for cybersecurity events, ensuring rapid containment, investigation, remediation, and communication.
- Direct security architecture and technology initiatives, including network security, identity and access management, cloud security, and endpoint protection.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, IT, and business units to balance security with innovation, operations, and growth.
- Manage security vendors, tools, and budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of prior CISO experience.
- Proven ability to design and manage enterprise‑wide risk management and governance programs.
- Demonstrated success in building, leading, and mentoring high‑performing security teams.
- Ability to balance technical security requirements with business objectives and innovation goals.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, etc.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS).
- Experience managing cybersecurity in public cloud environments.
CP Payroll believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of this role’s hiring base salary range is $140,000 – $150,000. The actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s education, training, experience, location, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, all CP Payroll team members receive equity and participate in either an annual bonus plan, based on company and individual performance, or a role‑based sales incentive plan.
This role is eligible for an annual bonus with a target of 10% of base salary, based on company and individual performance.
