Position: Technical Trainer (Contractor)

You will make an impact:

The Technical Trainer is responsible for delivering technical enablement training, maintaining and enhancing training content, and supporting the technical aspects of our Certification and Partner Programs. The Technical Trainer shall ensure that all client work has met or exceeded client expectations.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with excellent communication and facilitation skills. They are comfortable learning complex software solutions, translating technical concepts into effective training experiences, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, client‑focused environment.

This is a flexible contract position designed to support varying business and training demands. The successful candidate must be able to adapt to changing schedules and project needs while maintaining a high standard of quality and responsiveness.

Your day to day:
  • Training Delivery
    • Deliver engaging instructor‑led technical and enablement training programs to customers, partners, and internal audiences.
    • Manage the overall relationship and expectations of their assigned clients
    • Adapt training delivery based on audience needs, skill levels, and learning objectives.
  • Training Content Management
    • Maintain and update training materials to reflect product enhancements and evolving business requirements.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content remains accurate and relevant.
    • Contribute to the development of new training materials, exercises, and learning resources.
  • Certification & Partner Program Support
    • Design, create, and maintain hands‑on technical assessments and certification exercises.
    • Support scoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of certification and partner program content.
    • Assist in validating technical accuracy and effectiveness of certification materials.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience delivering effective technical training, software training, or enablement programs
  • Working knowledge of SQL and general database concepts and operations
  • Experience using generative AI tools to support content creation, instructional design, knowledge management, or training program development
  • Experience working with graphical reporting and data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of clinical trials and the role of data review, analysis, and reporting within the clinical research process preferred
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology industry and EDC products and services preferred
  • Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines, 21 CFR Part 11 and clinical trial methodology preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and training engagements
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to ask thoughtful questions to clarify functionality, business purpose, and user workflows
  • Blended dynamic of self‑motivation/can‑do attitude, intuitive thinking, flexibility and strong problem‑solving skills within a strong team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, knowledge transfer and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented, ability to multitask with strong prioritization, planning and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (with a focus on Word and PowerPoint), Windows 2000 / XP
  • Familiarity with web‑based and cloud‑based applications
  • Understanding of data analytics concepts and dataset creation processes
