SAP Application Manager

Seeking a senior SAP Platform Manager to lead the technical strategy, governance, and day-to-day operations of a complex SAP environment, with a strong emphasis on SAP Basis and cloud-based ERP platforms. This role will serve as the central point of coordination between internal IT teams, business stakeholders, cloud providers, and external partners to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable SAP ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in SAP platform management, strong technical expertise in Basis and infrastructure, and a background supporting modern SAP cloud deployments in a global environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience working with SAP platforms, with a strong focus on Basis administration and technical operations
• Hands‑on experience supporting modern SAP cloud environments (e.g., S/4
  
  HANA or similar platforms)
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, vendor‑managed services, and shared responsibility models
• Proven experience leading SAP platform or Basis teams in distributed or global environments
• Deep technical expertise in system administration, performance tuning, transport management, monitoring, and high availability strategies
• Solid understanding of SAP databases, integration components, and enterprise architecture concepts
• Familiarity with SAP security, user access controls, and compliance requirements
• Experience working with external vendors, system integrators, and cloud providers on large-scale initiatives
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership and vendor management capabilities, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
