As a Machine Operator 1 based in Mansfield, United States, you will play a hands on role in manufacturing high quality medical components that help improve patients’ lives every day. Setting up and operating CNC and manual machinery to manufacture medical components

Running simple machines simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality

Using precision measuring and inspection equipment to ensure product specifications are met Identifying and changing tooling as required to maintain efficient operations

Completing production and quality documentation in line with regulatory and company requirements

Working as part of a team to support continuous improvement, safety and cleanliness standards

What will you need to be successful?

High School Diploma or equivalent0 to 6 months of experience operating machining equipment producing simple to moderate complexity components

Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand blueprints

Good mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and attention to detail

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbsYou. Unlimited.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $18.75 - $28.12 hourly. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew.

Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
