Finishing Technician / Laser Marking Operator
Location: Mansfield, MA
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate:

$20.00/hour
2nd Shift: +$0.85/hour differential
3rd Shift: +$1.05/hour differential

Shifts:

1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Technician to work with surgical instruments in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include laser marking, finishing, inspection, and measuring parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Responsibilities

Load and unload surgical instruments into laser marking machines.
Perform finishing work such as polishing, grinding, deburring, and buffing.
Inspect parts for defects and quality issues.
Use measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and video measurement systems.
Read blueprints and follow work instructions.
Complete required documentation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2–4 years of manufacturing, machining, inspection, or related experience.
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good organizational and communication skills.
