Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement standard quality procedures.
• Perform dimensional, mechanical, and visual inspection of subassemblies, components, and parts for size, material, finish, appearance, and other requirements.
• Devise routine dimensional gauging set‐ups, generate reports and rejection slips, and record data to Crosby specifications.
• Plan and execute a sequence of inspection operations using measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, height and depth comparators, and air gauges.
• Conduct first‑piece, bench, and periodic inspections as required, referring questionable cases to the Inspection Supervisor and reporting reasons for defects or malfunctions.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a manufacturing or quality environment.
• Familiarity with inspection tools.

• Additional 2+ years in a quality control position.
• Experience with micrometers, verniers, or other inspection instruments.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Pay range: $27.29 – $30.19 per hour.
