Job DescriptionCoWorx Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor in the Mansfield, MA area to lead and support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. You’ll work directly alongside the production team, managing multiple lines, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support production staff to meet daily output and quality goals.
- Manage multiple production lines and resolve operational issues.
- Plan, schedule, and assign work to meet production targets.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Ensure adherence to company quality systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
- Interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform and oversee electro‑mechanical assembly tasks, including wiring, panel assembly, soldering, PCBA handling, and product testing.
- Test finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete all required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP).
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five or more years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as ISO 13485 or FDA 21 CFR 820.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices) standards.
- Experience with electro‑mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with assembly tools, including torque tools, crimpers, wire cutters, and soldering equipment.
- Experience using inspection tools such as calipers and gauges.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- OSHA certification, CPIM, or Certified Manufacturing Specialist (CMS) preferred.
- Cleanroom experience, preferably in an ISO Class 7 environment.
- Experience with pneumatic and fluid systems, as well as electrostatic discharge (ESD) practices.
