- Lead production of an FDA Class III medical device in production and ramp‑up for a strategic OEM
- Ensure adherence to released processes and meet production demand
- Lead continuous improvement, team leadership, talent development, and manufacturing process scalability
- Provide total cell leadership for safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals
- Direct process improvement programs and provide process method excellence
- Lead the cell in process improvement, delivered quality, and cost reduction
- Communicate key business and customer issues to employees
- Direct production planning and manufacturing with support from Planners, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations resources
- Ensure labor standards, quality commitments, and delivery commitments are met
- Ensure employees comply with Arterex Mansfield, customer, and applicable policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Pursue Lean processes, own visual metrics, and promote a sustainable Lean culture
- Select, hire, train, develop, supervise, counsel, and provide ongoing direction to employees
- Structure the assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives
- Support employee career development and training
- Bachelor's degree in Operations-related areas preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
- 10-15 years' experience preferred in complex electromechanical product manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
- Experience with FDA QMSR and ISO 13485
- Cleanroom manufacturing experience preferred
- Implantable medical device experience beneficial
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate directly with strategic customers
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong Lean manufacturing, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of production and inventory control and standard cost systems
- Ability to work 100% on-site
- Availability Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.
-5:00 p.m.
Demonstrates expertise in leading FDA Class III medical device production, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Proficient in Lean manufacturing principles and team leadership to achieve operational excellence and employee development.
