The Quality Inspector II will support all inspection activities including incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure final product and documentation meet all company and customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Use an Optical Comparator for measurement of parts and characteristics.
- Use video measurement equipment to measure part dimensions.
- Understand and perform to all current quality standards.
- Prepare and update Company and Customer inspection records as required.
- Communicate inspection results effectively with co‑workers and supervisors.
- Use basic statistical techniques for evaluation of measurement data and trending, including SPC and Process Capability.
- Accurately complete all required electronic transactions and paperwork.
- Utilize various measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, gages, and other handheld measuring devices for open set‑ups.
- Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and ability to read drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and quality background.
- 3+ years of experience.
Salary Pay Range: $21.12 – $27.98 USD hourly.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
