Job Summary

The Learning Environment Project Manager II is responsible for managing complex furniture installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal margin erosion. This role works closely with the operations team, sales team, clients, vendors, carriers, and installation partners to develop timelines, create schedules, monitor progress, and address delays or risks as they arise. The Project Manager II balances oversight of day‑to‑day details with broader project issues, while also providing timely updates on strategic accounts to the Sr.

Compensation Information
  • Annual salary range of $55,000–$65,000 with a defined annual incentive plan.
What you’ll do
  • Schedule, manage, and oversee multiple projects at various stages, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and priorities are balanced.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all internal and external project communications.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and timely updates.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and implement solutions to mitigate issues.
  • Coordinate deliveries and installations of furniture and equipment with vendors, carriers, installation teams, customers, and Senior Project Managers.
  • Resolve customer service issues, including punch lists and warranty concerns, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely release of departmental revenue billing.
  • Participate as an onsite resource when needed during the installation of a project.
  • Drive results through action‑oriented planning, prioritization, and problem‑solving in complex project environments.
  • Demonstrate resilience under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and pass along potential leads or opportunities to the appropriate sales team.
  • Support job‑sharing responsibilities, providing coverage and assisting LE Operations, Sales, and related departments.
What we expect you to bring to the table
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within project management and construction.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for face‑to‑face interaction with customers.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt responsibilities to business needs.
  • Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
  • OSHA 30‑hour certification.
  • Ability to read architectural blueprints.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in field construction management or related area.
  • Preference for experience or ability to read architectural blueprints.
Education and/or Certifications Required
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
