Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in Mansfield, Ohio
. This assignment offers flexible scheduling, a supportive emergency department environment, and an ongoing need with potential for extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for board-certified or board-eligible physicians looking for consistent ED shifts in a well-supported clinical setting.

Position Highlights

• Emergency Medicine coverage (locum tenens)

• Flexible scheduling across days, mids, and nights

• Fast, efficient credentialing process

• Collaborative ED team and strong specialty backup

Clinical Environment

• Community emergency department

• Bread-and-butter emergency medicine cases

• Level III trauma environment

• 45 ED beds with dedicated triage rooms

• Specialty backup available (including surgery, cardiology, neurology, OB/GYN, orthopedics)

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience

• Active Ohio medical license (or ability to obtain)

• DEA required

• ACLS / ATLS as applicable

• Comfortable working a variety of ED shifts

Schedule

• Flexible, shift-based coverage

• Days, mids, and nights available

• Weekdays and weekends
