Mansfield, OH 44903 — Mansfield, Ohio; north-central Ohio locum tenens opportunity

Assignment Type:  Locum tenens (OB/GYN locum)

Start Date:

June 1, 2026

End Date:  August 31, 2026

Duration:  13 weeks

Schedule:

2–3 clinic days per week, 1 gynecologic surgery day per week

Call:  24-hour weekday call shift per week and one 72-hour weekend call shift every four weeks

Shift Structure:  5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Shift Duration:  8 Hour Days

Estimated Hours per Week:  40

EMR:  EPIC

Hospital Bed Size:  326

Estimated Weekly Salary Range:  $74,660–$80,000 per week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)

Active and unrestricted medical license required (Ohio license preferred; Ohio locum tenens credentialing encouraged)

Valid DEA license

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an OB/GYN physician; locum tenens experience a plus

Ability to perform full-scope OB/GYN procedures, including hysterectomies, hysteroscopies, laparotomies, and salpingectomies

Comfortable with inpatient deliveries, gynecologic surgery, and outpatient clinic visits

Primary Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to women ages 18–65+ in both clinic and hospital settings

Conduct outpatient clinic visits (approximately 22 patients per day) and manage follow-up care

Perform gynecologic surgeries one day per week (full-scope gynecologic surgery)

Participate in call coverage, including labor and delivery, C-sections, and urgent patient inquiries

Collaborate with medical assistants, nursing staff, and advanced practice providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care

Document patient encounters, procedures, and operative notes using EPIC EMR
