Substitute Teacher

Substitute Teacher positions are available for the Mansfield City School District for all grade levels and all subject areas Requirements

• A minimum of an associate's degree. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A valid Ohio substitute teaching license or have the ability to obtain one

Mansfield City Schools provides instructional and other programs to students in two elementary schools (Pre-K –
2), one STEM elementary school (K-6), one Spanish immersion school (K –
8), one intermediate school (3 –
6), one middle school (7 –
8), and one high school (9 – 12). The district also offers students the area’s widest range of curriculum and programs in college‑prep, special education, plus career and technical courses.

All applicants are required to complete pre‑employment screenings at their own expense.

Each substitute shall remain free of any alcohol or non‑prescribed controlled substance and abuse of any prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.

Each substitute shall serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings. Each staff member has a moral responsibility to help instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.
