Substitute Teacher

Substitute Teacher positions are available for the Mansfield City School District for all grade levels and all subject areas

Requirements:

• A minimum of an associate's degree. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A valid Ohio substitute teaching license or have the ability to obtain one

Mansfield City Schools provides instructional and other programs to students in two elementary schools (Pre-K –
2), one STEM elementary school (K-6), one Spanish immersion school (K –
8), one intermediate school (3 –
6), one middle school (7 –
8), and one high school (9 – 12). The district also offers students the area’s widest range of curriculum and programs in college-prep, special education, plus career and technical courses.

All applicants are required to complete pre-employment screenings at their own expense.

Conduct:
Each substitute shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance and abuse of any prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.

Each substitute shall serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings. Each staff member has a moral responsibility to help instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.
