** invites applications for Chemistry Lecturer position starting in August 2026.  We seek a dedicated instructor committed to high‐quality undergraduate teaching and student success. Courses may include
** Organic Chemistry**,
** General Chemistry**,
** laboratory sections**, or other offerings depending on departmental needs and candidate expertise.

This full-time instructional position supports OSU Mansfield’s mission of providing
** accessible, affordable, and student‐centered education
** to a diverse population, including many
** first‐generation**,
** commuter**, and
** pre‐health
** students.
** Responsibilities**
* ** Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned undergraduate Chemistry courses** (lecture and/or laboratory)
* Prepare course materials, assessments, and syllabi aligned with departmental standards
* Provide timely, constructive feedback to students
* Maintain regular communication and hold office hours (in‐person or virtual) to support student learning
* Manage laboratory environments, including overview of laboratory staff, emphasize safety protocols and proper chemical handling.
* Foster a supportive classroom environment
* Collaborate with full‐time faculty and staff as needed to support student learning and ensure curriculum alignment across sections.

*** Master’s degree in
** Chemistry**,
** Biochemistry**, or a closely related field
* Demonstrated ability or strong potential to teach undergraduate students effectively
* Commitment to

** Preferred Qualifications
*** Ph.D. in a chemistry‐related discipline
* Prior Experience teaching

** General Chemistry**, or laboratory courses at he college level.
