Home Instruction Tutor
Positions open for the school year in Pupil Services. The position is up to 29.5 hours per week with no benefits. Compensation will be at the current tutor rate ($34.07) per hour.
Qualifications:
Applicants for this position must have a valid Ohio Teaching Certificate/License required by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
Duties:
- Provide home instruction to students absent due to medical problems, special education students who must receive services during an extended suspension due to disciplinary problems, special education services to students who would not otherwise be served at their building.
- Collect materials from and deliver student work to teachers on a weekly basis in a way mutually agreed upon.
- Deliver instruction to students using work provided by classroom teachers at a mutually agreed upon location.
- Participate in team meetings as necessary.
