This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑to‑mid‑level engineer to work on roadway and aviation projects while learning from experienced professionals and building a rewarding career.
Key ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do
- Design, analyze and develop transportation infrastructure projects that improve community mobility.
- Support senior engineers and project managers in preparing transportation design plans for state, municipal, commercial, industrial and residential projects within a 3D digital environment.
- Perform and review design calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Contribute to the development of design packages, including roadway geometry, drainage, grading and plan preparation.
- Assist with early project phases such as feasibility studies, permitting and cost estimating.
- Support aviation projects, contributing to runway and airfield design and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
- Experience working with Open Roads Designer.
- Familiarity with ODOT Design Standards.
- A strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and eagerness to grow technical and project management skills.
