Plant/Manufacturing Controller
- Food manufacturing experience required!

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a growing food manufacturing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive financial performance, operational visibility, and strategic decision‑making.

This position is ideal for a hands‑on manufacturing finance professional with strong cost accounting expertise
, a deep understanding of plant operations, and experience supporting manufacturing leadership teams.

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions for the facility
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Provide operational and financial analysis to support business decisions
• Monitor manufacturing KPIs and identify opportunities to improve profitability
• Partner closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Coordinate with external accounting partners and auditors

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA strongly preferred
• Previous experience as a Plant Controller, Manufacturing Controller, or similar manufacturing finance leadership role
• Strong cost accounting experience within a food manufacturing environment required
• Experience with inventory management, production costing, and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

• Existing accounting support structure already in place
• Payroll administration is handled internally, allowing this role to focus on accounting, costing, reporting, and operational finance

$100,000 - $120,000 base salary plus annual bonus
