Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Ontario, OH, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and willingness to float to sister campuses.

Job Details

• Part-time position in a hospital ICU setting,

• Night shift schedule: 2x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00),

• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 3:1,

• Every other weekend (EOW) required,

• Floating to sister campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) may be required if census drops,

• Medication scanning knowledge required,

• If placed on-call, must be able to return to the facility within 1 hour,

Job Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting required,

• Prior travel nursing experience required - first-time travelers will not be considered,

• Two professional references required for consideration,

• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 6 months before being considered for a position,

• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the contract,

• All missed shifts must be made up; if your assigned weekend falls during RTO, you are responsible for finding coverage
