Job Description Summary
Full time (36 hours per week), Night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). Eligible for weekend and shift differentials.
Responsibilities and Duties- Perform clinical operations and supervisory duties, ensuring quality, service, and client satisfaction.
- Provide direct patient care when needed, maintaining recognized standards of clinical practice.
- Coordinate the integration of the interdisciplinary team to achieve effective patient outcomes, efficient resource utilization, and high patient satisfaction.
- Direct, delegate, and participate in the treatment of patients and families to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Serve as a central resource person and maintain open, accurate communication lines for all stakeholders.
- Create efficient schedules for interdisciplinary staff and patients, ensuring appropriate skill mix.
- Establish systems, processes, and standards; work collaboratively with leadership to ensure smooth operations, safety, and desired results.
- Participate in recruitment activities, staff development, and serve as a clinical resource for interdisciplinary staff.
- Appraise staff performance, provide feedback, set goals, and supervise development.
- Ensure appropriate staff orientation and conduct regular staff meetings, memos, and educational updates.
- Participate on unit and hospital-based committees and initiatives to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
- Perform departmental audits and daily patient rounds to observe and obtain information about patient experience and associate satisfaction.
- Provide real‑time coaching to associates on patient and family needs; act as communication liaison for students and vendors.
- Assist the direct manager with budgetary needs and cost‑effective practices.
- Commit to high‑reliability organization standards, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Associate’s Degree (required).
- RN – Registered Nurse, licensed by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support, American Heart Association.
- BLS – Basic Life Support, American Heart Association.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
- BSN required after 5 years of employment.
Night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; 36 scheduled weekly hours.
