Position: Behavioral Health Clinician [Part-Time - Mansfield, Ohio]

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive problem‑solver who takes pride in delivering meaningful work that makes a lasting impact. We need a driven and detail‑oriented professional to join our team as a part‑time Behavioral Health Clinician.

Essential

Job Duties
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and environmental factors that may affect their overall health and well‑being to evaluate clients’ mental health and/or substance use concerns, identify their needs, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Support clients in managing their mental health and/or substance use challenges and improving their quality of life by providing counseling and therapy, including individual, family, or group counseling for clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance abuse.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other health‑care professionals within the health center—including doctors, nurses, and case managers—to coordinate the client’s care plan and ensure access to necessary resources such as healthcare referrals, social services, housing assistance, or financial aid programs.
  • Provide immediate support and appropriate crisis intervention services for clients or communities in immediate distress or facing emergency situations, assessing suicide/homicide risk, managing safety concerns related to domestic violence and abuse, and connecting clients to crisis resources.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice set by state licensing boards and professional counseling associations.
  • Maintain all required licensure, certification, registration, training, and behavioral health knowledge in accordance with organizational needs.

Requirements
  • State of Ohio License: CT/LSW/LPC/LISW/LPCC/LISW‑S/LPCC‑S.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • Experience in counseling and crisis intervention (preferred).
