This position will help to fill our current roster for the Mansfield ED and on our Virtual Team. The position will be primarily 11a-11p, but may include some 7a-7p shifts planned ahead of time. Experience with Crisis and/or Inpatient Behavioral Health is required. This position is eligible for the $7500 Sign-On Bonus.

This position is responsible for providing services to patients, families, and significant others including completion of biopsychosocial assessments, psychiatric diagnoses, formulation of treatment plans and treatment interventions, therapy sessions (individual, couples, family or group), implementation of treatment plans and discharge planning. The Clinician can practice independently and without supervision, as permitted by the State of Ohio licensure.

Responsibilities And Duties

30% Conducts patient/family/significant other interviews, charts reviews and professional collaboration to obtain and interpret information pertaining to patient biopsychosocial functioning. Completes assessments including: risk factors of harm toward self or others, developmental and age-specific needs, ability to care for self, ability to care for dependents, ability to meet basic custodial and financial needs, ability to engage in meaningful social and emotional relationships, and ability to comprehend and comply with treatment recommendations.

Develops preliminary diagnosis formulation.

30% Develops and implements plan of intervention based on assessment. Provides crisis intervention, supportive, educational, individual, couples, family or group therapies in an effort to resolve problem areas. Employs treatment planning, continuum of care planning, and discharge planning.

20% Maintains awareness of current hospital and community services to assist patient biopsychosocial functioning. Provides information and facilitates successful linkages between these services and patient.

20% Thoroughly documents assessments and interventions in patient's medical record and information systems in accordance with department standards. Complies with internal and external documentation requirements as related to specific patient/system needs and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree (Required) LISW
- Licensed Independent Social Worker
- Social Work Certification and Licensure Board, LPCC
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors
- American Counseling Association

Social Work, Nursing, Counseling or related field;
Licensure to practice independently in the State of Ohio or Certificate of Authority, e. g., LISW, LPCC. Clinical psychopathology, psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. Demonstrates knowledge of biopsychosocial development for the age of patients served. Experience working with acutely-ill psychiatric patients is required.
