Job Title: Operations Training Specialist

Job Overview: The Operations Training Specialist partners with Mansfield to ensure workforce competence, regulatory compliance, and effective training systems aligned with the AS9100D Quality Management System (QMS). Reports to the Plant Manager and collaborates with leadership to assess training needs, design and deliver training programs, and implement talent‑management strategies to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • In partnership with country HR, understand business cycles and talent needs to develop people strategies that build workforce capability and flexibility.
  • Drive employee engagement and culture alignment with the AD&M BU and TE.
  • Apply Six Sigma (TEOA) principles and tools to continuously improve training processes and services.
  • Identify training needs aligned to the strategic workforce plan and onboarding processes.
  • Develop leadership training to grow skillsets from shopfloor to management.
  • Work with plant, EH&S, engineering, and HR to ensure all training is compliant with plant requirements and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to various roles within the operations department.
  • Manage training documentation, ensuring accuracy, currency, and audit trails.
  • Drive safety culture through plant-wide safety training.
  • Coordinate and follow up on training plans and program requirements.
  • Create and maintain training records, documentation storage, and audit trails in sole source solutions.
  • Coordinate local and external training.
  • Manage local labor reports and support corporate & annual audits for external regulators.
  • Track and analyze training metrics to measure effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in talent management, training, or organizational development within an operations or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of talent assessment methodologies, performance management, and employee development practices.
  • Experience with AG5 training platform preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D requirements; lead auditor certification preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
