Job Overview

The Operations Training Specialist is a key business partner supporting Mansfield by ensuring workforce competence, regulatory compliance and effective training systems aligned with the AS9100D Quality Management System (QMS). The role reports directly to the Plant Manager and works closely with leadership to assess training needs, design and deliver programs, and implement talent‑management strategies to support organizational goals.

Job Requirements
  • In partnership with country HR, understand business cycles and talent needs to develop people strategies that build workforce capability and flexibility.
  • Drive, in partnership with country HR, the employee engagement and culture of AD&M BU and TE.
  • Apply Six Sigma (TEOA) principles and tools to continuously improve training processes and services.
  • Identify training needs aligned to the strategic workforce plan of the site and integrate them into the onboarding process.
  • Develop leadership training to grow skillsets from the shopfloor through to management.
  • Ensure all training meets plant requirements, EH&S regulatory requirements, Engineering & HR needs.
  • Design and develop comprehensive programs tailored to various roles within operations.
  • Manage training documentation to ensure it is accurate, current and refreshed as required.
  • Promote safety culture through safety training across the plant.
  • Review and follow up on coordination of training plans and program requirements.
  • Create and maintain training records, documentation storage and audit trails in the single‑source solution.
  • Coordinate local and external training.
  • Manage local labor reports, corporate & annual audits for external regulators.
  • Track and analyze training metrics to measure program effectiveness.
What Your Background Should Look Like
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in talent management, training, or organizational development in an operations or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of talent assessment methodologies, performance management and employee development practices.
  • Experience with AG5 training platform preferred.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D requirements; lead auditor certification preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $105,000 - $150,000 (subject to change based on physical location).
