Foundations for Living is a residential treatment center in Ohio that serves severely troubled adolescents facing behavioral, emotional, and psychological challenges. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for executing all Human Resources activities for the facility in accordance with facility policy. As a professional resource for facility management, the HR Manager ensures compliance with all Human Resources policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and standards, and employment law regulations. The HR Manager is a key member of the Senior Leadership team.

• Manage facility Position Control and maintain an understanding of staffing needs in accordance with the facility budget.
• Conduct full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
• Maintain expert knowledge of HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems used at the facility.
• Manage employee relations and performance management across the facility in conjunction with facility leaders.
• Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Monitor compensation program and wage‑hour compliance.
• Manage the facility’s FMLA, LOA, Workers’ Compensation, and unemployment processes.
• Stay current with and ensure the facility abides by all federal and state laws related to employment and regulatory standards.
• Maintain all HR‑related policies and ensure they are updated appropriately.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of HR leadership experience required.
• Previous management experience required.
• Experience in recruiting and performance management required.
• HR professional certification preferred.
• Previous HR healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR/employment laws and regulations.
• Effective communication skills and ability to problem‑solve and resolve conflict.
