Job OverviewAbout the role
As the Mgr I Supply Chain at TE Connectivity, you will lead a critical plant‑level supply chain function that supports operational continuity, inventory performance, and customer delivery commitments. This is a highly visible,
forward‑facing leadership role responsible for connecting planning, material flow, warehouse activity, shipping execution, and supplier follow‑up to the broader needs of the site and central teams. You will help shape and drive the plant’s long‑term supply chain strategy
, ensuring the right components are available to keep production lines running while maintaining strong alignment with reporting expectations, business priorities, and operational risk management. The role requires a dynamic, take‑charge leader who brings strong ownership, can work proactively without waiting for direction, and is comfortable representing the plant in regular cross‑functional discussions. You will play an important part in identifying gaps, communicating risks and opportunities, and leading a team that supports core supply chain processes across intake, kitting, scheduling, warehouse, and shipping activities.

- Lead the plant’s supply chain activities across incoming materials, inventory management, kitting, warehouse operations, and shipping coordination to support uninterrupted production and effective material flow.
- Own and drive supply chain reporting
, including monthly updates, gap reporting, and explanations of variances related to supply, inventory, and business performance. - Represent the plant in multiple recurring meetings each week, speaking to billings, revenue‑related supply impacts, opportunities, risks, and line exposure with clarity and confidence.
- Partner closely with operations, planning, and central teams to ensure the supply chain strategy is aligned to plant needs and that material availability supports production requirements.
- Proactively identify supply risks, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce disruptions and strengthen overall execution.
- Manage local supplier follow‑up as needed, ensuring timely communication, escalation, and action to address shortages, delays, or other issues affecting plant performance.
- Provide leadership to the team responsible for planning and related supply chain execution areas, helping set direction, build accountability, and improve day‑to‑day performance.
- Demonstrated success in a manufacturing supply chain leadership role with experience balancing operational urgency, reporting discipline, and cross‑functional coordination.
- A dynamic and proactive leadership style
, with the confidence to take ownership, drive action independently, and operate effectively in a highly visible role. - Strong executive‑facing and cross‑functional communication skills, with the ability to clearly present status, risks, gaps, and recovery plans in routine business meetings.
