Overview
This is an urgent opening for experienced Truss Builders in Mansfield, OH. We pay top rates for experienced talent (1st & 2nd shift, full‑time). Base pay starts at $17.50/hr; additional experience in roof or floor truss assembly is negotiable.
What You’ll Do- Assemble roof and floor trusses using jigs, nail guns, and other tools.
- Read and accurately build from engineered blueprints.
- Focus on quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Collaborate with a driven team to meet production goals.
- Truss, framing, or construction experience required.
- Proficient with tape measures and power tools.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Inserting or positioning materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts by hand and with power tools, and verifying dimensions of cut material according to supervisor instructions, blueprint specifications, and cut sheet layout; using a hammer to place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints; performing quality control of assembled items and proposing process improvements; following prioritized production list assigned by Assembler Lead and using assigned press stations;
fulfilling daily machine and area cleanup procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to read and understand simple diagrams, blueprints, and a tape measure.
- Ability to work 10‑12 hour shifts and lift up to 80 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED.
