Quality Technician/ Inspector, Quality Control / Manager
As volumes of parts from Best Cost Countries continue to increase the Quality Inspector on our team plays a critical role. As a Quality Inspector in our team, you'll be a key component of our production process, ensuring the quality of supplier products as well as quality of products produced under the guidance of your manager. Your role will be the diverse and dynamic, from inspecting incoming materials and products to ensuring our facility remains quality focused.
You'll be the master of drawings, inspection equipment, calibration and more.
As a Quality Inspector you will:
- Do sample inspections on machined/fabricated parts to latest drawing and C=O (2.5) sampling plan.
- Perform 1st piece inspections as required.
- Process all non-conforming material per procedure.
- Calibrate and maintain all precision measuring instruments.
- Enter all packing slips and work orders into the system.
- Stamp all packing slips and work orders “Accept or Reject” as applicable.
- Tag all acceptable parts/material with green accept tag.
- Make sure that all accepted material goes to the proper department.
- Move material throughout the facility using cranes, forklifts, and handcarts.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum education, high school diploma
- 3 years machining experience or 5 years of inspection experience
- proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have minimum 3 years’ experience reading engineering drawings
- Must have 1-2 years’ experience with CMM, FARO Arm or Keyence measuring equipment
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Ability to use cranes, handcarts, tow motors
- Having good math skills
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
