Mancan is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for a local company in Mansfield, OH.
Key Responsibilities- Must be able to build and maintain stamping dies
- Fabricate dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges from raw materials using manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, EDM, and wire EDM
- Operate heat treatment and surface finishing equipment to enhance tool durability
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues and improve tooling performance
- Maintain organized records of tooling, repair history, and preventive maintenance schedules
Skills and Qualifications
- 4 year apprenticeship program
- Blueprint Skiils
- Precision Machining (Manual and CNC)
- CAD/CAM Software
- Mathematics (Trigonometry and Calculations)
1st shift – 7am to 3:30pm, Monday–Friday with possible OT. Starting Pay: $28.00/hour.
