Successful, profitable manufacturer is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the operations of a performing, diverse plant. This position will oversee engineering, production, demand planning, maintenance and quality. This position will report to a Vice President of Operations. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Coaching, mentoring and leading direct and indirect reports
• Fostering a production environment that is focused on safety initiatives
• Establishing a Lean culture by identifying process improvements to decrease scrap, increase efficiencies and save the organization money
• Evaluating future needs of the plant and developing strategic plans to meet established goals
• Fostering relationships with production staff to attain plant goals and make needed improvements
• Owning the P&L and reviewing budgets and forecasts
• Prioritizing work in process and meeting monthly production requirements
• Reviewing the production schedules and making adjustments based on customer demands
• Leading plant capacity planning and working with the engineering staff on future capital equipment projects
• Developing and improving plant analytics and production metrics
• Presenting production reports and metrics to the management team
• Managing cost in order to achieve monthly goals
• Other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS for the Plant Manager:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field
• At least 3-5 years in a similar manufacturing management position
• Experience working in complex manufacturing environments that are mass production or fast paced
• Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports
• Operations management experience in a non-union manufacturing environment
• Experience supplying to multiple customers
• Proven track record of initiating continuous improvements
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills

Skills preferred but NOT required:

• Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications
• P&L experience
• Experience overseeing multiple disciplines
