Production Operator III - 3rd Shift

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures.
Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
The description below covers the most significant duties performed but does not exclude other work assignments not mentioned, the inclusion of which would be in conformity with the requirements assigned to this job, or jobs of lesser requirements.
- Performs diversified soldering operation, including, but not limited to, torch and iron soldering.
- Perform diversified assembly on a variety of products.
- Operate all equipment required to assemble a variety of products.
- Must be able to read blueprints, wire schematics, utilize a wide variety of measurement instruments to check parts to verify compliance to quality specifications.
- Finish relays with nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, touch up paint etc. and perform packing and shipping duties.
- Perform potting and encapsulation operations.
- Be able to operate in a team environment with work sharing, team problem solving, and team acceptance of responsibility.
- Train other employees as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in soldering.
- Completed ESD training and solder certification J-STD-001 is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics accurately.
- Proficient in the safe and correct use of measuring instruments, hand tools, soldering Iron and power tools.

Compensation:
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $43,950 – $48,339 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
